Tikka Box
A traditional Indian Tikka box made from hollowed out solid wood with a pagoda style lid and hand painted red. In great condition but with gentle age and wear from good use, which adds to the character.
These boxes were used for storing tikka powder, tikka or Bindi being a dot worn on the forehead during ceremonies. The powder is traditionally stored in these pagoda style boxes in homes and outside temples.
