Rich, jewel-like stripes of colour feature on this glorious Mashru sateen fabric drawstring bag by handworked. The ribbon drawstring closure doubles as the pouch’s handles. Lined with soft cotton Kantha to give the bag a truly sumptuous quality.

Traditional Mashru is a rare handwoven fabric primarily produced in Punjab and western India. Mashru is a double layered fabric with silk on the front and cotton on the reverse, making it heavier and stronger than pure silks. The silk yarns are woven in a particular way which gives the fabric a beautiful lustre.
