I have seen an item when I visited / on Instagram which is not on your website. Can you tell me more about it or can you send it to me?

Please contact us to discuss the piece you have seen, as it often depends upon the individual garment.

We are always working to add more pieces to our website. We spend considerable time photographing our products and writing descriptions for the website in order to illustrate the product as accurately as possible. Providing you with accurate information helps to minimise returns which as a small, independent business, is very important to us.

A handworked garment is not available in my size, do you make to order?

We have a favourite range of handworked styles which feature regularly in our collection and these items can be made to order. There will be a note in the description if the garment you are viewing is available as a made to order item. If your size is not currently in stock, please select the made to order option, in your size, from the drop down menu. Made to order items can take 3-5 weeks to make. Other garments are made in limited runs, so are not available as a made to order item.

Can I still return a made to order garment?

We do hope you are delighted with your made to order purchase but if it is not right for you, then you can still return the garment as per our returns policy. Made to order items are not customised or personalised, so your right to return is unaffected.

Can you give me some advice about caring for my garment?

There is a wash care label inside each of the garments. Our ‘Clothing details’ page has extra information regarding garment care.

Do you gift wrap?

We do offer gift wrapping and we can write a message within these cards on your behalf if you would like to send a present direct. Please include your message and state that you would like your item gift wrapped in the ‘Additional Information’ field at the checkout.

Do you send internationally?

We currently only send within the UK (not including the Channel Islands), however this is something we often review.

Do you have a phone number?

We do not have a phone. You can contact us here or by email hello@thehandworkedshop.com. At busy times, it is not always possible to provide a quick reply to enquiries, so please be aware that there may be a delay with us getting back to you.
